"Wecome to the site of May Claerhout"
 Many scientists think to know how long ago it was. Since then the desire to create is own to people.
With wood and stone, with red ochre and painting, with words and melody. And always with the tough urge, creating, release it's been called.
Or just art.
Some still do it with clay, as in the beginning of time.
So does May Claerhout...
In her workshop, some distance from the village, it happens...
Creation...
She discovered very early on the ability of her hands. Or not just the hands, because, she thinks, creation begins with the eye.
You need the gift and willpower to see things, the representation will follow. That she has the gift to see is, you know after a short time.
She didn't need artistic lessons and academies. She never had the desire to become an artist. She only discovered she was one. Ans she still is.
For her it's part of being human. For her it's a rule of life...
